Following Foreign Office advice against all but essential travel to mainland China we have cancelled our flights to and from Beijing and Shanghai with immediate effect, until 29 February, while we assess the situation.
Flights to and from Hong Kong remain unaffected.
This situation will remain under review and we will continue to provide regular updates. If you have a booking with us, please make sure we have your contact details.

My flight has been cancelled, what are my options?
1. If you have already started your journey – you can call us on 0800 727 800 from within the UK, or +44 (0)203 250 0145 from outside the UK, where we will guide you through your travel options. As availability of alternative flights is limited, rebooking may take time.
2. If you have not commenced your trip – you can refund your ticket via Manage My Booking, or discuss rebooking options by calling the relevant number above.
3. If you booked via a travel agent – please contact them directly to discuss further arrangements for your booking.
I’m booked to/from Hong Kong, can I rebook or refund my flight?
If you are flying to/from Hong Kong up until 23 February 2020, you can rebook on to another flight operated by British Airways to the same destination at a later date, or request a refund.
To make this change please contact us. If you made this booking via a travel agent, please contact them to rebook your flight.
I’m booked to/from China, but my flight has NOT been cancelled, can I get a refund?
We are continuing to review our flights beyond 29 February. Please continue to monitor this page, and ensure that your contact details are up to date.
